1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- The Subscription Trap, package name
uk.co.termsapply.subscriptiontrap; - the website at
termsapply.co.uk; and - direct privacy enquiries sent to Leslie using the contact details below.
It does not replace the separate privacy terms of Google Play, Netlify, LinkedIn, an email provider or another service that you choose to use.
2. The Subscription Trap
Information the game collects
None is intentionally collected or transmitted to Leslie. The game is designed to work offline and does not require registration, a user account, a real name, an email address or payment details.
Advertising, analytics and tracking
The game is not designed to contain advertising, behavioural analytics, tracking pixels, personalised marketing or third-party advertising identifiers.
Payments and fictional subscriptions
The game creates no real subscription, makes no charge and offers no in-app purchase. References to membership tiers, renewals, payment processing or cancellation delays are part of the satire. Subscribey Steve is not authorised to access a bank account, however confidently he may imply otherwise.
Local game progress
Game progress, achievements, settings and similar play state may be stored locally on your device so that the game can remember your progress. This local information is not intended to be transmitted to Leslie. You can remove it using Android’s app-storage controls or by uninstalling the game.
Device permissions
The game is not intended to request access to contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, financial information or other sensitive device data.
3. The Terms Apply website
The website does not intentionally use advertising trackers, visitor analytics, tracking pixels, account registration, comment forms or payment collection. It does not set its own tracking cookies.
The browser edutainment arcade keeps game state only in the temporary memory of the page while it is open. It does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage or an online account to save browser-game progress. Refreshing or closing the page resets the browser games, and play choices are not intentionally transmitted to Leslie.
The contact buttons use ordinary links. Clicking an email link may open your chosen email application. Information is only provided to Leslie if you deliberately send an email, in which case it will be used to read and respond to your message.
Like any hosted website, basic technical request information may be processed automatically by the hosting provider to deliver and protect the site. Leslie does not use that information to identify, profile or advertise to visitors.
4. Other services
Downloading or updating the game through Google Play involves Google’s own systems. Visiting LinkedIn or sending email involves the service you choose. Those providers may process information under their own privacy policies and technical arrangements.
No third-party service is intentionally embedded in the game for advertising or analytics. If a future version adds a service that changes this position, this policy and the Google Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
5. Retention and deletion
Because Leslie does not intentionally receive app usage data, there is no remote game account or app-data profile for Leslie to retain or delete. Locally stored game progress can be removed through Android’s app-storage controls or by uninstalling the game.
If you voluntarily email Leslie, the message may be retained for ordinary correspondence, record-keeping and follow-up. You may ask for that correspondence to be deleted where appropriate by emailing the address below.
6. Children’s privacy
The game is not designed to collect personal information from children—or, indeed, from anyone else. It is a satirical educational game intended for an audience able to understand themes involving scams, manipulation and consumer harm.
7. Changes to this policy
This page may be updated if the website, game or relevant privacy practices change. The date near the top will show when the policy was last revised. Material changes will not be hidden behind a seventeen-step cancellation process.

This policy describes the intended privacy behaviour of the released website and game. The final Android release should be checked before publication to confirm that its manifest, permissions, libraries and network behaviour match these statements.
